Cat Photos Page? Huh?
A while back I created a Random Cat Photo Page and a Random Cat Photo Google Gadget. Both have become very popular.
Can I add/submit my own cat pictures?
I am working on a way for everyone and anyone to add/submit their own photos to the page/gadget. If you’d like to be notified when the feature is ready, you can send an email to catphotos at esaba.com and I’ll add you to the notify list. Please do not email me your photos. I will not add any photos I get through email.

Out of curiosity, though, do you have a photobucket or something like that with all of these photos on it? There are a few that I’ve seen here that I’d really like to snag, but it’s hard to find particular pics after you’ve clicked past them.

Love the pics, but is there any way you can stop uploading ones with broken english and ridiculously made-up words? Most of us can read, and comments like “oh noes oober cat naut likes watir” turn otherwise cute cat photos into insults to our intelligence. Just a thought. Opps, eye meanz just a thot kk thinkz. There are several pics of a fluffy B&W cat with a huge spotted cat whose head size, open-mouth diameter, and fang size are clearly not those of a domestic animal. Is that cat fully grown? Is it always going to be safe for it to live with the B&W? What kind of cat is it? Just curious.

I think there are alot of really funny photo’s, I narrate the one’s with wording and my kids just about pee themselves!!!! We crack up all the time looking at this site and as a cat person myself I would love to have my ccats on here, they take great pic’s and would be a great additon to the site!! Mary again, I am USA all the way but I think that alot of the broken english or “made up words” are from people in different countries where “english” is a second language to them, but obviously they love their pets as much as any one else, I think there are alot more compelling problems in our world today to worry about, these pic’s are a way for all of us to share some well deserved laughter,,,so as BoB Marley would say “Don’t worry , Be Happy”

i don’t think so, Mary. All the captions are intentional misspellings and grammatical errors made on purpose. It’s not really possible for people who actually learn a language and how to spell it to transform it in such a way.
A piece of advice for the webmaster of this fabulous site: would it be possible to add “next” and “previous” buttons to the cat pics section? If I click too fast on the “Next random pic” link and accidentally omit a great photo, it is not possible to view it again (the “back” browser button just redirects to the previous site I was visiting).

i am addicted to random cat photos. i can spend a good half hour easy just clicking. to capture a picture you love, right click on the photo, select copy link, open a new tab and enter the link. that is the spot for that picture and you can save it/bookmark, etc. i do this all the time to share my favorites with my sister.
90% of the time the lol speak is Hi-larious. why does it make a cute picture funny? i just don’t know

Do you have any info on image 2117 with the Akita and the black and white cat? It looks like a Japanese Akita versus an American. We own a Japanes Akita and find that they are very rare in the US. Would love to be able to reach out to the owner.

I think it is funny that people think say how much they like this site but then ask questions like “Telulu:
How do you put me in the list? what do I do so I’ll be in that list?” People, how about this. READ the WHOLE amount before you post. You would then learn two things.
1. To submit your cat photo: YOU CAN’T. Not yet. He/she/they are working on it.

I love the cat photos but there are some which show - and I don’t mean enhanced ones - cats being dressed up and even worse, a kitten being held up by its front paws behind its back. This is a seriously dangerous and uncomfortable way for a cat to be held. And cats do the funniest things anyway without subjecting them to humiliation by sticking things on their bodies - some respect, please! Happily, these pics are in the minority. And the enhanced ones are usually incredibly creative without causing harm to the cat.
